Come and Learn Scuba Diving In Peace
Joel and Meg have recently opened Sea Gypsy Divers in a small village close to Ao Nang.
The dive centre is in a rural village surrounded by farming and countryside, away from the tourist crowds. As Joel and Meg will tell you, you can “come and learn SCUBA diving in peace”.
Purpose built for SCUBA diving training and delivering PADI courses they have a classroom and deep swimming pool in their landscaped gardens. All the resources are here for a fun and relaxed way for to learn – “everyone can be a SCUBA diver”.”
Patient Teaching and Environmental Education
Joel and Meg are very enthusiastic about diving in this area of Krabi and around the Phi Phi islands. They specialise in teaching nervous divers and students that don’t want to feel like they are rushing through the training.
They are also very passionate about the ecology of the marine environment and educate all of their diving trainees about what they can do to help protect it.

The underwater clips which make up the closing sequence were all shot by Joel or Meg on their GoPro. The other underwater clips, the aerial filming, classroom and pool sequences were all shot by Pushing Fin.
The editing, colour correction and titling was all done by Pushing Fin and reviewed by Sea Gypsy Divers to achieve the final version.
